EMC Budget and Admin Fees

Recovery of Admin Fees in FY2016/2017

Under a price cap regime as determined by the EMA on 13 March 2013 and revised on 1 November 2014, EMC will be recovering 25.30 cents/MWh from the market with effect from 1 July 2016 to 31 March 2017 and 24.50 cents/MWh from the market with effect from 1 Apr 2017 to 30 June 2017.

 

In accordance to the revenue regulatory framework, EMC will be collecting monies arising from the audited revenue adjustments of FY2015/2016 from the market participants with effect from 1 November 2016 to 30 June 2017. The total amount collectable is as follows:

Budget for FY2017/2018

 

Under the Market Rules Chapter 2 Section 11.1.6, EMC is required to publish its proposed expenditure, revenue and schedule of fees as soon as reasonably practicable following the receipt of the Energy Market Authority's approval. On 26 May 2017, the Authority has approved the EMC's budget containing the requisite items.

 

Recovery of Admin Fees in FY2017/2018

 

Under a price cap regime as determined by the EMA on 13 March 2013 and revised on 1 November 2014, EMC will be recovering 24.50 cents/MWh from the market with effect from 1 July 2017 to 31 March 2018.
