As well as operating the wholesale electricity market, EMC appoints the following three governance bodies:
These governance bodies play an important role in:
- evolving the market,
- monitoring the efficiency and fairness of market operations and enforcing the market rules and
- ensuring that any disputes are dealt with in a fair, efficient and cost-effective manner.
