The Market Rules require EMC to publish the Power System Operator's schedule of fees for a given fiscal year as soon as reasonably practicable after the EMA finalises the PSO’s proposed expenditures and revenue requirements.

The EMA Board had approved the PSO's budget of S$16.605 million for FY2008/2009. The PSO's administrative fee for the wholesale electricity market is expected to be $0.2104 per MWh for the FY2008/2009 based on estimated energy trade of 39,453,000 MWh.
