Tan Soo Kiang
Chairman
Tan Soo Kiang is the independent Chairman of EMC. Soo Kiang is a partner in the law firm of Messrs Wee Swee Teow & Company. Soo Kiang joined the legal service after graduation and advanced to hold various judicial appointments including Registrar of the Supreme Court. He was an appointed Member of the Board of the Public Utilities Board from 1995 to 2001. Soo Kiang sits on a number of boards and continues to serve on a number of panels and committees including the Panel of Mediators, Singapore Mediation Centre.

Chang Meng Teng
Chang Meng Teng is the Chairman of Squire Mech Pte Ltd. He is a licensed professional engineer and is the Hon. Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Singapore, a Fellow of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, United Kingdom and the Society of Project Managers. Meng Teng was the President of the Institution of Engineers, Singapore from 1990 to 1992. He was awarded the Public Service Star and the Public Administration Silver Medal for his community and public services respectively. He was appointed a Justice of the Peace of the Republic of Singapore in 1979. Meng Teng joined the Public Utilities Board in 1967 as Assistant Mains Engineer, Electricity Department and rose through the rank to be the Distribution Superintendent of the Electricity Department of the Public Utilities Board. He was promoted to the General Manager’s Department as Asst. Director and is a direct report to the General Manager with responsibilities for Systems Studies, Chief Architect and Chief Chemist, Transport Divisions and the Properties Division. Meng Teng left the services of the Public Utilities Board in October 1979 to join the private sector. Meng Teng was Managing Director of Squire Mech Pte Ltd until 1999. He has served on many committees and statutory boards of Government Ministries and the Community organizations. Meng Teng is a Director of the listed Amara Holdings Limited and a Director of Ang Mo Kio - Thye Hua Kuan Community Hospital.

Andy Gan
Andy Gan is the Managing Director of Hydroculture Scape Pte Ltd. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and is a Certified Public Accountant in Singapore and Australia. Andy's work experience includes the auditing of private and public companies, tax and estate planning. Andy also has vast experience in systems and internal controls of business entities in the financial industry, and the rules and regulations of the Futures Exchange. Andy has served on a number of committees within the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore, including the Industry and Commerce Committee, Simex Committee and Banking & Finance Committee. Andy was a Member of Parliament.

Bill Shields
Bill Shields is a Non-Executive Director of M-co International Limited and is also currently a Director of the Queensland Treasury Corporation,  Chairman of the Australia Korea Business Council and a Visiting Professor, Macquarie Graduate School of Management. He was Chief Economist and an Executive Director of Macquarie Bank (1987-2001) and has held senior positions with the International Monetary Fund, the Reserve Bank of Australia and the Treasury.  In 1998, Bill was a member of the Australian Prime Minister’s Taskforce on International Financial Reform and received a Centenary Medal for his services to Australia on international financial issues.
 

Michael Brogan
Michael Brogan is a senior executive of the FirstRand Banking Group. In that capacity he is Chairman of FirstRand International and the RMB Australia Group. He is also a Director of M-co International Limited. Prior to joining the FirstRand Group, Michael had eight years international banking experience with Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong where he held numerous senior executive director positions including Managing director of Standard Chartered International Trust Group, Chartered Financial Holdings PLC and Standard Chartered Equitor Group. Prior to Standard Chartered Bank, Michael spent 14 years as a partner in a firm of Chartered Accountants in Australia. Michael is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
