Wong Meng Meng, Senior Counsel, founded WongPartnership in 1992, and the Firm ranks amongst the top law firms in Singapore today. Meng Meng retired from the Partnership in 2006, but remains with the Firm as Founder-Consultant, a position that aptly acknowledges his role as the man who, in the words of The Straits Times in its 16 December 2006 article, "set up a law firm that achieved a meteoric rise to prominence." Meng Meng is an accredited arbitrator with various professional and jurisdictional institutions including the Singapore International Arbitration Centre. He now acts mainly as Arbitrator or Counsel in selected cases. Meng Meng graduated from the University of Singapore and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1972. He was among the pioneer batch of Senior Counsel appointed in January 1997. Meng Meng is an accredited Adjudicator under the Building & Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 2004, and a member of the Competition Appeal Board set up under the Competition Act. Meng Meng is the President of The Law Society of Singapore, a Vice President of Singapore Academy of Law, and a Member of the Advisory Board of the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore. He had served previously as a member of the Military Court of Appeal, and the Advisory Committee of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre. Meng Meng sits on the Board of several public and other companies including United Overseas Bank Limited and Mapletree Industrial Trust Management Ltd. Meng Meng has consistently been acknowledged as one of the world's leading lawyers in leading directories such as The International Who's Who of Commercial Litigators, The Guide to the World's Leading Experts in Commercial Arbitration, Asialaw Leading Lawyers, PLC Cross-border Dispute Resolution: Arbitration Handbook, The International Who's Who of Construction Lawyers and Best Lawyers International: Singapore, amongst others. The Euromoney Legal Media Group identified Meng Meng as one of the world's leading litigation lawyers and also ranked him as one of the top five litigation lawyers in Singapore. The Asia Pacific Legal 500 - The Guide to Asia's Commercial Law Firms has identified Meng Meng as a leading individual in Singapore for dispute resolution work since 2001. He is also recognised for Corporate Governance work in Singapore by PLC Which Lawyer – Directors’ Duties & Liabilities.
Jomar Eldoy is a Director of M-co International Ltd and the Chairman of M-co (the Marketplace Company) Pty Ltd. Jomar has served as the Chief Executive of the M-co group since 2003 when he joined Rand Merchant Bank in Australia. He has extensive experience from the energy industry in Europe, taking part in establishing the Nordic electricity market from the early nineties. Before joining FirstRand Group, Jomar served as Chief Commercial Officer for Mirant in Europe and prior to that he established several trading operations in Europe and the US as an executive of Hafslund ASA, a Norwegian generator and utility. Jomar served as a non-executive Director of Nordpool ASA, the Nordic electricity exchange from 2001 until he moved to Australia in 2003.
David Wong is a Chartered Accountant, and was previously a partner with Ernst & Young. He is currently the Chairman of Ascendas Funds Management (Singapore), the manager of the Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust. He sits on the boards of several companies, including Banking Computer Services Pte Ltd, LMA International NV, PacificMas Bhd, Pacific Mutual Fund Berhad and United Engineers Ltd. He is also a board member of the National Environment Agency and a member of the Casino Regulatory Authority of Singapore. David has been awarded the Public Service Star and the Public Administration (Military) Medal (Silver).
Chuan Seng is the Chairman of Beca Asia, a leading engineering consultancy in Singapore, and an Alternate Board Member of the Beca Group, New Zealand. In the 1990s, he led the expansion of the Beca Asia business into Indonesia, Myanmar and Malaysia, and in the 2000s, into China. His international work experience also includes Vietnam, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan and Korea. Chuan Seng is the Deputy Chairman of the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and a Board Member of the Professional Engineers Board (PEB). He currently chairs a number of industry committees including the BCA Green Mark Advisory Committee which oversees the benchmarks for green building awards in Singapore, and the BCA BIM Steering Committee which oversees the adoption and implementation of Building Information Modelling technology in the construction industry. He is a member of the Steering Committee for the Ministry of National Development’s S$100m R&D fund for applied research into environmentally sustainable technologies in construction and the HDB Committee for Environmental Sustainability. Chuan Seng is the Founding President of the Singapore Green Building Council and is currently its Immediate Past President. He is a Board Member of the World Green Building Council. He also chairs the Advisory Board for the SE Asia Beachheads Programme of the New Zealand government’s Trade and Enterprise Agency. Chuan Seng was awarded the Public Service Medal in 2010 for his outstanding contribution to the PEB and the profession. A New Zealand citizen and Singaporean permanent resident, Chuan Seng obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (1st class Honours) from the University of Auckland in 1977 and has lived and worked in New Zealand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore.
Gregory Gay is a Director of M-co International Limited and is Finance Director of the RMB Australia Holdings Group. Greg has been with the RMB and FirstRand Group for over twenty years and is currently responsible for the finance, treasury, and risk and compliance functions of the organisations’ operations in Australia. Greg has also been responsible for the finance functions of M-co International since 2003. He has extensive experience in banking and financial markets.
Prior to joining RMB, Greg worked for the equities division of Macquarie Bank and spent four years in chartered accounting. Greg is a Certified Public Accountant and has an Executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
